Install the realtek drivers you downloaded – reboot 8. I didn’t install a sound card. Try to choose another drivers in dialog model. I re-installed Realtek with the ‘Recommended Settings’ by Windows and it said the same as when I tried installing my devvice drivers ‘No Compatible Hardware’. I’m in the same boat. I hope this gets to the right people: I came from several Nvidia cards and my most recent upgrade, I thought I would try AMD because it was a bit cheaper and nearly identical realtek ati hdmi audio device to higher priced Nvidia cards.

Then you click on the fan “Driver” and then click on “Cancel opdate”. I then have to reboot to get Attempting to force it to test for sound audoi me the same message “Being used by another application”.
Just click on the sound button in bottom right corner.
