What is it, and which version do I have? I just purchase I3 with OG intel board but don’t know how to solve this issue. Posted July 20, I did through the original board until it got fried by electrical surge. Which versions of the drivers have you tried? I am now using driver 7. I had to tell the bios not to search for other sound hardware, and rely solely on the onboard equipment.

8400hs Already have an account? Why would a graphics card render an onboard sound card inoperable? When I see them in Device Manager I delete the drivers and restart the computer, but every time I restart, there is still no sound, and windows once again installs 4 HD audio devices.

I started searching for IRQ conflicts, since that was what it was most acting like, and the article I read also nvidia geforce 8400gs hdmi audio about double checking the settings in my BIOS when installing new hardware, even though this stuff is supposed to be plug and play.
