Introduction
Baccarat is a card game where essentially the player plays against the dealer trying to form a hand which totals 9 or as close to 9 as possible. The player is first given 2 cards then from the rules of Baccarat (which will be described below) the player may be given a 3rd card. The dealer is also given 2 cards and then from a different set of rules which apply to the dealer in Baccarat, the dealer may be given a 3rd card, as well. The game edge is slightly in the house’s favor, but the player may still bet on the dealer’s hand, but will loose a 5% commission on winning dealer bets. The player may also bet that the hands will tie.
Playing The Game
The Togel Singapore card values in Baccarat are as follows: Ace equals 1; 2 thru 9 equals face value; 10 plus face cards have a value of 0. If the player’s 2 or 3 card total is equal to something greater than 10, than the player’s total is considered to be the total minus 10. If the player’s total is more than 20, then the player’s total is considered to be the total minus 20. So essentially, the player’s total is the one’s digit for his total. The player and the dealer are both dealt 2 cards initially. The rules are that if either the player or the dealer have a total of 8 or 9, then both stand and whoever has the closest total to 9, wins! If the player has a total of 6 or 7, then he must stand on this total, as well. If the dealer has a total of 7, then he must stand, but if the dealer has a total of 6, unlike the player, he has an opportunity to draw. This somewhat depends on if he gives a 3rd card to the player or not and what that cards is. The player will take a 3rd card if his 2 card total is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. The dealer will always take a 3rd card, if his total is 0, 1, or 2. The rest of the rules for the dealer, considering whether or not he takes a 3rd card, depends upon what his total is and what 3rd card he gave to the player. These rules are outlined below:

The winner between the player and dealer is the one whose hand comes closest to a value of 9. The player has the option to bet on the player’s hand, on the dealer’s hand, and there is also a tie bet that the hands will be of equal value. A bet on the player’s hand, pays at even money. A bet on the dealer’s hand also pays at even money. The edge for the game is slightly in the dealer’s favor. The catch on the dealer’s bet is that the house takes a 5% commission if you win, negating the house edge you have in placing the dealer bet. The tie bet usually pays at 8:1, but sometimes it will pay at 9:1. The house edge for the 8:1 tie bet is approximately 14%. Even at sites where the tie bet pays at 9:1, the house still has an edge of a few percent.
